"Mama Africa" Bridge

Finally the next bridge is well under way!! Consolidating our idea of linking the bridges to continents, Africa was the chosen one, partly because of its linkage to man's origins and partly because of the prominent black community in Loughborough Junction and the Brixton area. Proceedings have started early this year, recruiting local artists to get inspiration from african visuals, symbols, motifs.
