Our sponsors and supporters
The 7 Bridges project has worked in partnership with the Loughborough Junction Action Group (LJAG) since its inception. LJAG has been behind all the events we have run, as well as contributing to the creation of our website. We cannot thank them enough for all their support in getting this far.
All the artwork on the bridges are on Network Rail property and we have worked closely with their engineers and asset protection teams to ensure that there is no question of damage to their property and that the public are not put at risk by our interventions.
Lambeth Council has been key to the realisation of all the bridges, providing funding through TFL grants for public realm improvements. They have been incredibly supportive of the initiative helping with the infrastructural work to carry out the artworks.
Heritage Lottery funded the Loughborough Junction World War I augmented reality app, whose three trails all culminated under the Cambria Bridge.
A special thanks to Daler Rowney, which have kindly donated paint used on the "Mama Africa" bridge. They also supported us with stencil paper, tracing paper and charcoal to help realise the project. We are excited to say that they are keen to work with us on the remaining bridges and our Mama Africa bridge will be featured in their latest brochure!
